Now available from Mopar: Dodge Challenger body shells, ready to build into your next race car.

Not too long ago, our Dave Young brought you these pics while picking up a brand new, never-used Dodge Challenger  body-in-white, one of the leftover ones from the 2011 Challenger Drag Pak program.

Mopar's made it official...they're selling the rest of that run of Challenger bodies. Come on in for more info...

Here's what you get with Mopar's new Challenger body shell. What you don't get is the hidden damage (& related problems) that come with starting from a totalled crash survivor.

New Dodge Challenger body shells, which provide an excellent starting point for a race car, are now available in limited quantities from Mopar. They come complete with doors, deck lid and hood. Fascias and other trim items will be available as a “builder’s kit.”

These shells eliminate the bodywork or welding normally required with a project car that may be damaged, or a salvage car (that may have lots of damage).

Designed for competition use only, these bodies have no vehicle identification numbers (VINs), and cannot be used for a street application.
