Late last year, the Chrysler Group decided to give its enthusiasts a voice and created the PentaStar program, which recognizes individuals who display a passion for Chrysler automobiles. This week, PentaStar showcases Michaela Marie Brass of Amber, Pennsylvania.
Michaela, affectionately nicknamed ‘Miss Mopar’ by her friends, is a true enthusiast who enjoys restoring muscle cars to their original glory. Her current “babies” are a 1971 Plymouth Roadrunner 340 4-speed and a 1972 Dodge Charger SE.
If anyone comes from a long line of Chrysler blood, it’s Michaela. She is a fourth generation Chrysler employee who explains that her grandparents actually met at a Chrysler dealership and, “we have had Mopar in our blood ever since!”
Along with basic restoration knowledge, I really pride myself in knowing about the history of Mopar/Chrysler as a brand. I grew up in a Chrysler dealership, so I feel like I have a pretty extensive knowledge. My main interest lies in restoration stories. I believe that they hold a lot of the "magic" of the auto industry,” she explains.
