What better way to describe this '69 Dodge SuperBee than...BEE-utiful!

Where were you last weekend? On a fall-colors run with fellow Mopar enthusiasts? Or, were you out in your garage/shop, getting started with your latest winterttime project?

We made it over to the Florida State Fairgrounds for NSRA's annual Southeast Street Rod Nationals Plus, the unofficial"start" of the outdoor show season here in Florida this past weekend (October 11-13).

Come on in for more of what we saw...

NSRA's Southeast Street Rod Nationals Plus returned to the Florida State Fairgrounds this past weekend--just a quick shot
up the road from Mopar Muscle World HQ--and it seemed like there were more Moparsd on hand than before!

That's thanks to the National Street Rod Association now inviting more 1949-later cars and trucks to their events--which are bringing more Exner-era and muscle-era Mopars to them, as we've noticed.

Take a look at what we saw...and remember, these are from the show that's typically the "opener" for shows and cruise nights in southwestern Florida, now that the summer's humidity has subsided (and a lot of our "wintertime neighbors" are hitting town and getting their cruisers/show-ready rides out of storage.)

Are any of these rides seen here yours? (Or do you know who owns 'em?) Let us know!

Keeping the faith for the fat-fender lovers was this '49 Plymouth droptop.

How's this for a '63 Plymouth Savoy? (HINT: Look under the hood!)

Can you identify the legendary Mopar powerplant? (And can you name what kind of carburetors are on top of it?)

Remember Dan Zajac's '70 SuperBird (that we saw at another local event last spring)? He & his Bird were on hand.

The crowds kept on coming in the gate on Saturday.

There were deals aplenty in the Swap Meet...including this listing of early Hemis that one vendor had.

We spotted this early '70s Dodge Demon in the Swap Meet area, looking ready to race.

Is it us, or would that "Continental" spare look better on a '51 Chrysler than on this '61 Chrysler Newport?
