It wouldn't be Carlisle without a row of bodaceous B-Bodies!

Couldn't make it to Carlisle this year? No problem--we've got a wrap-up of what went on at this year's Carlisle Chrysler Nationals.

Come on in for more...

Where else are you going to see so many C-Bodies in one place?

As it has since 1991, the Carlisle Chrysler Nationals showcased the best from Detroit all in one place - the Carlisle, Pennsylvania Fairgrounds. The 2013 offering hosted stars, seminars, the world's largest all-Mopar-themed swap meet and, of course, the BEST showfield of Chryslers and Chrysler-backed products to roll off the assembly line.

With a three-day event that even made an impact on Early Bird Thursday, this year's show further solidified its place within the collector car hobby.

Ever seen so many historic (& original) Max Wedge Cars? They were there at Carlisle!

By mid-day Thursday, the grounds were coming to life as patrons were trickling in, along with the cars and vendors.Everyone onsite then came looking to catch a glimpse of a bustling showfield in the making, plus beat the parts-shopping competition at the swap meet. In addition, the invitational displays took shape.

The all-female display within Building Y drew a strong crowd each day, and the Max Wedge gathering in Building G also saw a non-stop flock of enthusiasts.

Not a grocery-getter in sight here!

Within Building T, a general snapshot of cars and trucks filled the floor, and were anchored by some gems. In one case, a Plymouth Road Runner which sat on the showfield in 2011 as a dilapidated project, sat completed and fully restored for all to see.

Thursday also saw a great kick-off party at a nearby car dealership, which saw some 400 cars cruise in for a night of food, music and fun.

Sonny ("Enos") Shroyer from The Dukes Of Hazzard signed autographs for fans young and old

With gates opening at 7 a.m. Friday, hordes of guests filled the grounds. Cars rolled onsite non-stop too, and everyone was here to see each other, the cars and the special celebrity guests. Joining the show in 2013 were Sonny Shroyer (Enos) from The Dukes of Hazzard, as well as four cast members from the movie Christine. Joining Shroyer were Alexandra Paul, Malcolm Danare, Steven Tash and William Ostrander. All five celebrities, plus a '58 Plymouth Fury from the Christine movie itself, greeted fans, posed for photos and signed autographs all weekend.

Friday also saw an hour-long ceremony on stage, where Carlisle Events recognized the annual National Collector Car Appreciation Day.

Generallee speaking, you'll find it at Carlisle!

Saturday, despite some early morning showers, once again saw a packed showfield and thick crowds onsite.  The autograph lines continued for the celebrities, and the seminar tents were filled all day long. Seminars included one by Lake Speed, Jr. on modern oils, a round table discussion with the RamChargers and more.

On hand at Carlisle: Members of the cast of Christine.

Plus, the Christine cast hosted a discussion on the stage with hundreds of fans listening to stories about the film with a Q&A session.

Light 'em up!

The day also included ride-alongs and autocross with Hotchkis Performance, off-road excitement with Rausch Creek, a burnout competition, beauty contest, engine giveaway, Dodge Dart walk-arounds, dyno testing and fun at the Dodge display on the midway.

The final day of the 2013 event, Half-Price Sunday, saw a strong return by many car owners and enthusiasts, an awards parade, plus one final round of autographs by the Christine cast and Shroyer. As part of the parade, hundreds of awards were presented including club participation awards, Kids’ Choice, Celebrity Picks, plus multiple class-specific awards.

You should've seen what else was there in the swap meet at Carlisle!

Also, everyone who returned to Carlisle had one final shot at the swap meet, and the opportunity to enjoy cars within the invitational displays, plus those on the showfield as part of the winners’ circle.

With this year's event concluded, focus turns to next year's Carlisle Chrysler Nationals, set for July 11-13, 2014 Registration is now open!
