SRT Body and Soul

Drive SRT has released a brilliant new video on its YouTube channel featuring the all-new 2014 SRT Viper entitled “Body and Soul.” The video is part of SRT’s first-ever advertising campaign.

"We all know what a horseless carriage is. We grew up with them,” it begins. But the newest SRT vehicles are anything but that boring car that your parents took on family road trips.

“The average 16-year-old boy in America would rather have his own set of wheels than make out with the captain of the varsity cheerleader squad. How can we desire a machine more than another human being? Well the answer is quite simply absolutely profound.”

SRT explains the process between creator and machine, stating throughout that “the two have become one. The maker is the voice of the machine, the machine is the echo of the maker’s soul.”

"A body without a soul is just a lifeless inanimate frame that will one day be returned to the elements to which it came. So it is up to the maker of the machine to breathe life into its creation.”

It ends with the sights and sounds of the beautiful new Viper – a truly powerful living machine. We’ll admit it; we can’t get enough of this thought-provoking ad.
