Those of you who read my blogs know that my latest project is a '64 Dodge Polara hardtop that I'm building to race in the Nostalgia Super Stock drag racing class. If you don't read my blog or follow Mopar Muscle on Facebook, then I guess you'll find out about this car once the April issue of the magazine comes out.
Writing magazine articles, blogging, and posting on social media sites keeps me busy, but I did get time to finish the brake installation on the old Dodge this week. To make our racecar safer and perform better, we installed front and rear disc brakes from Wilwood. This is a big step, getting us a little closer to actually driving our car, and is somewhat of a milestone because now at least we can install the wheels and tires so the car will roll. You'll be able to see the full installation in the May issue of Mopar Muscle, with more technical articles about this project to follow.
