No More "General Lee" Replicas?

Dukes of Hazzard, General Lee

WB says no more Confederate flags on anything they license. Thank political correctness for that.

Attention Dukes of Hazzard fans: Get your "General Lees" while you can...because there won't be any more of 'em (at least not without
one item on them).

Whodunit? Not Boss Hogg.

Come on in for more...

In the latest e-mail we got from the folks at Supercar Collectibles, there was a note that it's possible that no more "General Lee" replicas will be made.

Here's why, per the item they received on July 12:

WB says no more Confederate flags on anything they license. Thank political correctness for that.

"Regarding future Dukes of Hazzard offerings from ALL manufacturers: Let it be known that Warner Brothers has altered their licensing language so that it now forbids the inclusion of a Confederate Flag on ALL products bearing a WB license. As such, existing items that fit the description are now true collector pieces. Most incredibly, this has the effect of assuring NO GENERAL LEE of any type or scale will be manufactured going forward, as likely nobody is going to make them WITHOUT the roof art, as nobody would buy them.

If you have any GENERAL LEES in stock, they are the last you're going to see. Now is this 100% true, and for sure? We don't know,
but it came from a very good source."

Thank you, political correctness. Thank you so bloody much.
