Third '12 Mopar ‘Top Eliminator’ To Be Named at Carlisle

What does "Carlisle" mean to you? For Mopar folks, it means the huge All-Chrysler Nationals coming up this weekend.

It's also where Mopar will pick its third "Top Eliminator" of 2012...come on in for more!


 
The third of four 2012 Mopar “Top Eliminator” winners will be chosen during the Carlisle Chrysler Nationals in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, July 6–8.
The winner will be recognized during the awards ceremony, which wraps up the three-day event.

Mopar's long-running  “Top Eliminator” program shines a light on passionate and dedicated Mopar enthusiasts who display unmatched skill in modifying or preserving a classic or modern-day Mopar vehicle. “Top Eliminator” winners will be honored by having their vehicles showcased in the Mopar display area at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, October 30–November 2.

“With the vast number of Mopars on display at the Chrysler Carlisle Nationals, it’s the perfect setting to add another member to the remarkable list of Mopar Top Eliminator winners,” said Pietro Gorlier, President and CEO of Mopar. “We have honored two outstanding ‘Top Eliminator’ winners already this year,and look forward to adding a third this weekend.”

Tom Ledoux of Pearland, Texas, was chosen as the first 2012 Mopar “Top Eliminator” winner for his modified 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT8
during the 7th Annual Spring Festival of LXs in Irvine, California Neil Wedeking of Marble Rock, Iowa, was named the second 2012 Mopar “Top Eliminator” winner for his '70 Plymouth 'Cuda AAR during the 28th Annual Midwest Mopars in the Park car show in Farmington, Minnesota.

The final Mopar “Top Eliminator” winner of 2012 will be selected via an online competition, with details released at a later date.

Last year, Bob Villiger of Mountain Home Arkansas,was named the Mopar “Top Eliminator” winner during the Carlisle Chrysler Nationals. for his 1969 Dodge Coronet 440.

Mopar “Top Eliminator” candidates are judged on a number of criteria, including Mopar content, overall appearance and additional benchmarks. A panel of Mopar representatives will choose each winner. Mopar “Top Eliminator” submission forms will be available at Carlisle, or for download on the Carlisle All-Chrysler Nationals website (http://www.carlisleevents.com/pdf/Top_Eliminator_Entry_Form.pdf). Forms must be turned in at the Mopar display at the event no later than 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 7.

The Mopar display center will be on-hand for all three days of the Carlisle Chrysler Nationals, with Mopar parts and show vehicles on display, along with fun activities and contests for attendees to take part in. The Mopar Gear rig will also be present with a wide array of Mopar apparel and merchandise for purchase.
