Ever feel unappreciated, unwanted, or under-utilized? That's the way our van was starting to feel so it's time to sell . . .
If you went to this year's Mopar Nationals, you likely saw the '78 Dodge Tradesman 200 van we drove up in honor of the truck and van tribute. This van is right out of the 70s, and was originally owned by a California resident who was definitely into "vannin". The van has a sweet, rust-free California body and has been modified outside with a rear spoiler and front vent visor, and inside with shag carpet, wood paneling, captain's chairs, and a fold down rear seat that makes into a bed.
Of course we treated the van to a whole bunch of new parts and maintenance to make it roadworthy, and drove it on last year's Hot Rod Power Tour and to this year's Mopar Nationals to promote the AMSOIL Numbers Don't Lie Dyno Showdown. Since then, however, the van has been sitting a lot and not getting much use so we decided to sell it. We've had a lot of fun with this vehicle, but rather than see it sit unused we'd rather pass it on so someone else can enjoy it. Plus, it will free up our time for other projects more in line with the "Muscle" part of our magazine title.
So long friend!
