Building a Magnum or LA-based 318, 340, 360--or a stroker smallblock...and you don't have the cash for aluminum heads? (And you can't/don't want to scour the swap meets for a set of factory 340 "X" heads?)Come on in for more about EngineQuest's all-new iron heads for Mopar's smallblock V8s...
Mopar small-block street enthusiasts and racers looking for an affordable high-flowing cast iron cylinder head can call off the search. EngineQuest has just what you need--their brand new, cast iron Chrysler Magnum cylinder heads. They'll wake up any 318, 340, 360 (or Magnum/LA-based “stroker”) right out of the box.
Cast in Australia with premium materials and machined to exact tolerances, EngineQuest's iron Magnum cylinder heads accept production or aftermarket valvetrain components, intake manifolds and exhaust manifolds and headers. They provide an affordable alternative to more pricey aftermarket aluminum versions, while not giving up power for racing or severe street usage. Two versions are available to fit a wide variety of applications. Part #CH318B is machined for a pre-1990 LA-style intake manifold bolt pattern that still uses all Magnum rocker parts. (It's been approved as a stock replacement head for use in IMCA's Hobby Stock and SportMod divisions.)Part #CH318A is identical to the CH318B, but it's machined for the production 1992-2004 5.2L and 5.9L Magnum intake manifold bolt pattern. EngineQuest's Magnum cast iron cylinder heads will also fit on virtually any '67-later 273-318-340-360 LA smallblock with ease. No need to do the “junkyard crawl,” or spend weekends at swap meets looking for usable heads...these are engineered and designed to outperform any production cylinder head, including the legendary factory 1968-71 340 “X” casting.
