40 years ago, who'd have figured that Ma Mopar's humble A-Body compacts could be turned into corner-carving monsters?
Today, you can do just that with handling components and complete systems from Hotchkis Sport Suspension—now available from Summit Racing Equipment, to fit all 1967-1976 Plymouth and Dodge A-Bodies (including '67-'69 Barracuda, '70-'76 Duster and '71-'76 Demon/Dart Sport).
Hotchkis’ Total Vehicle Systems (TVS) are all-inclusive kits that are ready to bolt in—-there's no need to mix and match components as Hotchkis did all the testing and tuning for you.
TVS kits include: Tubular upper front control arms (in your choice of steel or aluminum); One inch drop rear leaf springs (geometry-corrected for better handling); Front and rear anti-sway bars;Adjustable strut rods and tie rods;End link, sway bar, leaf spring bushing; plus detailed instructions and all
the installation hardware you'll need.
Summit also offers the Hotchkis TVS components separately--all come with the brackets, hardware and instructions you need for an easy DIY installation.
Hotchkis' Strut Rods positively lower your A-Body's upper control arms, improve responsiveness, and remove unwanted play and excessive movement in your front suspension. They're made from 7/8-inch diameter tubing, and have 5/8-inch, high-articulation spherical rod ends.
In back, Hotchkis Rear Lowering Spring Kit includes bolt-in relocation brackets that correct the factory geometry to reduce roll steer. These lightweight, three-leaf springs cut unsprung weight to improve handling performance and balance, while lowering your A-Body one inch in back (and lowering its center of gravity)
