And Now, This Word From Plymouth...

 Remember the Ma Mopar-produced factory film to Chrysler-Plymouth dealers (introducing the '63 Plymouths)?

Come in for a link to one of the TV spots that ran in that ad campaign...


 ...this spot, as mentioned in the factory film, ran on a bunch of prime-time shows in the fall of '62. (The :"big bang" switch to color TV broadcasting was still a couple of years away.)

Does that voice sound familiar? It's Art Gilmore, who not only voiced a lot of radio, TV and company films for Ma Mopar over the years, he also voiced a lot of feature-film trailers for the big screen, and (among other voice-over gigs he had) he also did the intro to the TV series Highway Patrol.
