Remember when then-ChryCo boss Lee Iacocca asked car buyers to compare the then-current Chrysler, Dodge and Plymouth lineup against the competition?
That wasn't the first time, as you'll find out when you come in for a look at a 1957-vintage factory-produced comparison film....
Copy-and-paste the URL below into your browser, and you'll go to the first part of a Chrysler-produced film which compared some of its higher-end '57s against their nearest competitors (size/price-wise).
The film is split into eight parts online, and here's the URL for part 1: www,youtube.com/watch?v=UOXZaSpzmcQ&feature=related
(Just look for "Part 2 of 8", etc., to see the rest of the film in sequence)
Your guess is as good as ours as to when/where this would be shown...likely to salesmen of the era to teach them how the Plymouths, Dodges, De Sotos, Chryslers and Imperials out-everything'ed their competition from The General and the Blue Oval. (Independents? Don't make Ma Mopar laugh!)
Just though you folks would like to see some Exner Era finned finery, in color no less!
