 September brings back-to-school time...and it used to bring all kinds of new-car ads presenting the next year's lineup.

Come on in for one that introduced the 'Bird to the public in the fall of 1967.....


 This TV ad appeared on network TV shows in the fall of '67 (including the first of Bob Hope's music & comedy specials on NBC, which was sponsored by Chrysler).

And...yes, the animations are by the Road Runner's creator, Chuck Jones, who'd left Warner Brothers when "Termite Terrace" (their animation department) closed in '62 and started up his own shop.
