In case you haven't checked your calendar yet, today is April 26th.

Or, 4/26 if you keep track of your days that way.

With that magic (to Mopar folks) number combination in mind, come on in for a historic Hemi pic or two.

There are from our file of stuff that we gathered in putting the "Earliest Known Hemi" story together for the July issue of Mopar Muscle, which hits the streets next week.

Wouldn't you like to have that Hemi...or either of those early B-Bodies in this shot?

First, here's a Mopar PR photo that came out in the spring of '64.

This is one we got via Mopar collector/enthusiast Jim Lovera, who was a big help in putting the story together.

Is this the earliest known 426 Hemi engine block in existence? Read more about it in the July issue of Mopar Muscle...on the streets May 3rd!

He's got a most interesting artifact in his collection--what is likely the earliest known 426 Hemi engine block. Mopar Muscle's July issue has the story...which takes you from Highland Park to Indy to Daytona (with a few stops in between).
