The view that many saw

I just returned from the experience of a lifetime. It was history in the making as I entered the Petty Garage compound and got to see for myself, the restoration of the number 40 Superbird that won the Daytona 500 in 1970.

A lot of people wondered where the car ever ended up, and thankfully it was found and restored. Stay tuned for the complete article in the January 2011 issue of Mopar Muscle magazine about this amazing find and the restoration done by Richard Petty's crew.
