The NMRA, building on the success of their 2009 Houston, Texas event, will combine with the NMCA series to produce what will be the largest muscle car events of the year…the 2nd Annual Nitto Tire NMRA/NMCA Lone Star Shootout at Houston Raceway Park in Houston, Texas the weekend of Nov. 12-14, 2010.  This is great news for all of our GM High-Tech Performance readers because the NMCA has classes open to LS and LT powered race cars.  From True Street and Open Comp to Late-Model EFI…there are several classes to race at the Lone Star Shootout.

TREMEC will sponsor Saturday’s huge True Street class that will feature Chevys, Ford and Mopars doing a 30-mile cruise around Houston and then 3 back-to-back passes for awards to overall fastest and the closed to 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15 seconds.  On Sunday TREMEC will sponsor the Lone Star Shootout class, which will be a heads-up, quick 16 race from Saturday’s True Street event.

Not into racing?  Enter your muscle car or hot rod in the huge TREMEC All-Domestic Car Show for a chance to win over 60 awards given away both Saturday and Sunday.
