Coming Distraction: The Best B-Body Ever? (Got a problem with that?)

Is the second-generation Charger the best B-Body? A lot of you think so.But...of all of them made from '68 to '70, is this the best of 'em all?

Check out this Charger in December's Mopar Muscle.

The secret? Hidden in plain sight here...and seen in more detail in our feature story in December's Mopar Muscle.

“Best Ever.” Seems like we’ve seen that term used to describe the ’68 Dodge Charger more than once.  Starting with Ma Mopar’s sales-number-counters, who saw the “Coke-bottle-sided” ‘68s sales easily top those of the wedge-fastback ’66s and ’67s combined, totaling some 96,100 Chargers and new-for-’68 Charger R/Ts—a total which would only be topped by Charger’s biggest-ever sales year of ’73.

But…how do you improve on the best? If you’re XV Motorsports, you continue the work started with their two E-Body Challengers that we brought you a while back (“Jumping The Tracks” in our July ’07 issue, and “Xtreme Vertible” in March ‘08’s MM), and apply it to the larger B-Body platform.

XV Motorsports' '68 Charger is seen in all the right places...especially in the December Mopar Muscle!

See what they did, how they did it....and how it looks with the Big Apple as a backdrop...only in the December Mopar Muscle...on newsstands NOW!
