Who's a holiday turkey? It's any driver who'll take to the roads for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday weekend who can't tell what an unmarked '06-later Dodge Charger cop car looks like.
We'll tell you what to look out for, thanks to the one that we have in our Mopar Muscle Home Fleet
Outside of obvious clues like light bars mounted on the back shelf or below the windshield header, here are some more cues to look for:
Note the lack of any series badging (though some '09 Charger cop cars do have a "street look" option that puts a series badge on the front fenders. But those 18-inch wheels are a giveaway, as is the slightly-higher-than-a-stock R/T ride height.
So's the dual exhaust system on a Charger that has no R/T, SRT or other hi-po Charger ID on the back of it
Ours has the plastic wheel cover option. Here's one we found an image of with the factory "dog dish" hub caps.
Forewarned is forearmed....observe the rules of the road this holiday season...don't be a turkey & get pulled over by one of these or any other kind of cop car! (Also, DON'T EVEN THINK of trying to outrun one...you can't out run it, much less outrun the radio signals the cop chasing you will transmit to alert back-up/intercepting cops ahead!)
