Remember the "Forward Look" Mopars we showed you not too long ago...that were set to cross the block at Mecum's "'57 Heaven" Museum closeout auction in Branson, Missouri?
Here are the four Dodges in the sale once again, with their "hammer prices," per the folks at the Mecum Auction Company.
The Custom Royal Lancer convertible, the top of the '57 Dodge passenger-car line, found a new home for $190,000. (Lest you think that price is high...when was the last time that you saw another one of these in ANY condition?)
Another droptop "Sweptwing '57 Dodge" also crossed the block at Branson: this Coronet convertible, from the Dodge series priced to compete with Ford, Chevrolet (and Plymouth, of all things!). The hammer price of $90,000 means this one is out of the "low-price field" for good!
Speaking of top-line offerings, this '57 Sweptline pickup (which "borrowed the rear quarters from the two-door Sierra station wagon) sold for $75,000...a giant price for a Dodge "Power Giant" truck, eh?
...and how 'bout the four-door Sierra wagon? This one found a new home for $26,000..
