Where were you when this happened?

200,000 miles, high-mileage vehicles, vehicle maintenance

How many miles have you put on a vehicle? I just turned over 200,000 miles on my Cummins diesel powered 2000 Dodge truck and it's ready for more.

At 200,000 miles, I guess my Cummins diesel is getting broken in. This engine and truck have impressed me with their durability, requiring very little maintenance to acheive this benchmark. With just routine oil and fuel filter changes, and a new converter and injection pump, this truck has performed flawlessly for 200,000 miles, and still drives and looks great.

I got lucky to capture this picture, as I was traveling from North Carolina to Florida with my son. At 199,984 miles I said "We're about to turn over 200,000 miles!" Then I forgot to look at the odometer until I stopped for gas in South Carolina. I noticed that by luck, we were at exactly 200,000 miles so I took a picture to capture the moment.
