Got a 5.7L or 6.1L Hemi—and you’re looking at adding a power adder like a supercharger? Then you’ll want to add one of these: Moroso’s new aluminum oil pan for the 5.7L/6.1L Hemis
Moroso’s latest piece of Mopar hardware is this billet aluminum oil pan (Part Number 21161) that’s got a fabricated “T” sump inside.
It also features:
-Road race-style trap door baffles, which provide oil control in drag racing and road racing applications (& for “spirited” driving, too)
-An 11-quart capacity (bigger than stock)—extra oil capacity is needed for 5.7L/6.1L Hemis, as they hold extra oil in their cylinder heads
-An anti-slosh baffle
-An oil temperature fitting (For you folks running oil-temp gauges, it’s plug-and-play)
-A supercharger drain-back fitting
-Recommended accessory: Moroso’s Stainless Steel Dust Shield (p/n 71161)
