Many of us are tightening our belts due to the lackluster economy, how are you saving money while building your Mopar?
It's great to have a hobby like restoring or racing Mopars, but when money gets tight we often have to make sacrifices. Let's face it, nobody is getting raises these days and many of us are doing without the overtime and bonuses we're used to. And if you're laid off, well we don't have to tell you what that does to your car budget.
Fortunately, there are alternatives to purchasing expensive new parts for your Mopar. One of our favorite ways to save money is by attending swap meets. Often you can find the part you need in new, or "almost-new" condition, at a huge savings over what the new part would have cost. Ebay is another place you can find deals, kind of like a swap-meet online.
What are some ways you're making ends meet while still fixing up your car? We'd love to hear your ideas and share them with the rest of the Mopar community, so feel free to leave a comment or email us at moparmusclemagazine.com.
