Yes, it's got a Hemi. And the LX platform's hi-performance goodies...WITHOUT the bling.
It's the 2007 Dodge Charger with the police package....and I've now got one!
You're looking at a photo of it from the website of the police-equipment/used copcars company (Veto Enterprises) in Northern Illinois that I bought it from. They'd used it as an equipment demonstrator, showing off how products from the cop-equipment-makers they sell and install look when in the car. Byt the way, this car was never used in police service.
It only has 20,000 miles on it now, following my drive back here to Tampa via my Mom's place in Minnesota.
Its road manners, especially in the heavy rains I encountered between Vandalia, Illinois and Memphis, are the best of any ChryCo product that I've ever driven. Plus, it got around 22-24 miles per gallon, depending on traffic and weather conditions
How did other drivers react when they saw it? Those that eyeballed it as a cop-package Charger tended to keep their distance behind me, and not go zooming by when they passed. Some drivers that I was behind dropped right down to the posted speed limit & drove like they had a ton of points on their license and didn't want to risk getting another ticket.
Now it's time ot show off to the guys here, and figure out what the next step(s) with it will be.
