Finishing a project

Do you ever get anxious to finish a project so you can drive it? I sure do.

I always get anxious when one of my projects is close to being finished because I can't wait to get out and drive it. My '71 Road Runner is currently in the paint shop, and has been painted, but it just seems like it takes forever to get the car put back together. Of course it's tempting to hurry the process, but I know proceeding with patience is the only way to do it right.

1. I've got a Duster that I bought in 2007 and it's currently in primer. This is the first car I've ever done a complete restoration on. There are so many pieces lying around in my garage it's scary. I know I've still got a long way to go on it, but I hope to have it finished by this summer. Now that the rust is gone and the body is all one color, I can see the finish line in sight. I'm wanting to drive it so bad, so I feel your anxiety.

2. I've been working on my 71 Challenger since 2001. I got it painted over a year ago, and since it as just been one problem after the next. First I almost got ran over by a Monster Truck, then there was a shooting at school. So it got put on the back burner. Now with the Power Tour coming up, I've been working on it again.
