Big three bailout

Economic crisis, big-three bailout, American car companies

I wonder where this truck is going? Since it isn't carrying cars, maybe it should go to Washington to carry billions of dollars to Detroit.

The economic crisis is all you seem to hear about on the news these days, and it has hit American car manufacturers as well. Personally, I hope they get bailed out so my new Challenger's lifetime warranty will still be good.

Otherwise, is it really a good idea to bail out Detroit? The labor unions can be partially blamed, so that in turn can be blames on the workers since they vote the unions in. Additionally, the ceos and execs at these companies should be blamed and likely let go. I like my Challenger and think it's a great car, way better than anything Ford or Chevy offer and even good when compared to other cars in it's price range that come from foreign manufacturers.

But they need to be competitive on price, and that takes business reorganization. The kind you get in Chapter 11 . . .
