I was looking at the trees in my yard and realized something.

Have you ever noticed that the leaves on trees are bright and shiny on one side, but dull on the bottom? I noticed it just the other day. I don't know why I didn't realize it sooner, but I didn't.

Then it occured to me, cars are shiny on the top and dull on the bottom just like tree leaves. So maybe the trees just want to look like cars. But I think the trees were here before cars were invented. I'm not sure because I wasn't alive then but I think the Science books I've looked at show pictures of old trees, but not old cars, so the trees were here first as far as I know.

So I guess we paint our cars like the trees instead of the other way around.
