You hear a lot about securing our borders these days, and on a tv show I was watching the border patrol were driving Dodge Ramchargers.

On tv the other day I was watching one of the presidential candidates talk about securing our borders. Then, by coincidence, I flipped to a channel that was actually showing border patrol agents driving Dodge Ramchargers on the border. I thought "those trucks must be 15 years old", then I figured out the show must have been filmed about 15 years ago and the trucks were new at the time.

If they want to secure the southern border of the United States they should just move it farther south. If you look at our border with Mexico it's huge, like thousands of miles. But if you look at the southern border of Mexico it's tiny. So if we just make a deal with Mexico to move our border to their southern border, it would be a lot easier to secure it with a fence. It would also require fewer trucks and agents. Heck, a few sharpshooters in towers could probably patrol it by themselves.

Anyway, maybe our next president will make a deal with Mexico and we'll just move the border. The new state could be called Texico.
