If I had a million dollars, I'd probably do something dumb with it like buy a bunch of old cars.
If I had a million dollars, I'd try to be careful with it and not squander it away too quickly. I would go out to eat more though, because I don't like cooking. I mean I can cook, and I like good food, but I don't like cleaning up afterwards. Plus, if I take time to cook, then eat, it's less time that I can work on my cars and race. So I think I'd go out to eat more if I had a million dollars, or at least order more pizza and chinese carry out.
I'd probably buy a car too, maybe a '71 Hemi Cuda. I like Hemi Cudas and even have one, but mine's a '68 race car. On second thought, a million dollars might not even buy a real Hemi Cuda these days because the prices are insanely high. If I would have bought all the Hemi Cudas back in the eighties, I could sell them now and be rich. I might even have more than the million dollars I now wish I had. But I didn't, and don't, so I'm really just dreaming about what I'd do with a million dollars.
I guess if I couldn't buy a real Hemi Cuda, I'd just spend all my money on a bunch of junky old A and B bodies that I could fix up in my spare time. I'd probably have a alot of spare time if I had a million dollars, because I'd probably quit my job or just not care and do something to get fired.
Maybe instead of buying old cars I'd do something smart like invest in the stock market or in real-estate. If i had real estate though, I'm sure I'd get in trouble with code enforcement because of all my junky old cars.
Or, maybe I'd sell all my cars and buy a really big boat if I had a million dollars. Then I could aimlessly ramble on a boat website about how great it is to have a boat, or about where I go in my boat, or about how nice it is not to have to work because I have a million dollars. Oh, wait, I bought a boat with that money so now I'd have to work to buy gas. But if I worked I wouldn't have time to go boating, so maybe if I had a million dollars I'd just buy a bunch of junky old cars.
