GTXMAN 5pts The new Challenger will never be everything to everyone. With modern safety and emission regulations and the economy, its amazing they were able to pull off the program at all. If the new Challenger were made as spartan as some of the early muscle cars were it would attract a very narrow customer base. I doubt this was lost on Chryslers marketing dept. Its amazing that as we get older how quickly we forget what it was like to drive a 3500 lbs car with manual drum brakes, manual steering and bias ply tires. The new Challenger stops, corners, accelerates has airbags, stereo and does it all much better than the muscle cars of the late 70's and all that with A/C power windows and a warranty. I am impressed with the new Challenger, Bravo to Chrysler.
